About Skillverse

Skillverse started with a simple frustration: watching activity providers — swim coaches, dance instructors, sports clubs — juggle enrollments, invoices, and schedules across spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups, and paper notebooks, while families struggled to keep track of it all from the other side.

Carla Horn, the founder, is an educator based in Swakopmund, working daily alongside the extracurricular activities that fill children's afternoons — swimming, dance, gymnastics, and more. That vantage point made the problem impossible to ignore: providers deserved better tools, and families deserved a clearer view of their kids' activities, all in one place.

Skillverse connects providers and families on one platform: scheduling, billing, progress tracking, events, and a marketplace for gear — all in one place, built specifically for Namibia and South Africa.
